Kaká drives AC Milan to victory after a spectacular season, increasing his drive to inspire the team to another triumph.

What motivates Kaká?

Kaká told uefa.com that the team's motivation comes from the fact that no team has taken the trophy two years running since the European Champion Clubs' Cup was revamped in 1992/93.
The Brazilian midfielder believes that Milan is ready and willing to win the competition again and do something that nobody has done before.

Celtic test

Kaká warmed up for the new European season with a goal in the emotional UEFA Super Cup defeat of Sevilla FC on August 31, 2007.
Milan welcomes fellow former continental champions SL Benfica on Matchday 1, with Shakhtar Donetsk FC and Celtic FC to come.
Kaká scored a wonderful extra-time goal against Celtic last season to take the Rossoneri to the quarter-finals.

Different tactics

Kaká has no doubts about the discrepancy in his goal-scoring record, with 10 goals in 13 Champions League games and 8 goals in 31 Serie A appearances last term.
The biggest difference is in the opponents they face, with Champions League teams always trying to play and win.

Creator supreme

Kaká is a natural midfielder who can cause problems for markers as he moves into deep positions.
He explained that people see him more as a forward because of the last edition of the Champions League, but he always played in midfield before.
Kaká's job remains making passes and providing assists, even though nothing surpasses the joy of scoring a goal, as seen in his 10 goals in the 2006-2007 Champions League season.
